WORD FROM GENERAL SECRETARY

READ THE MESSAGE FROM OUR GENERAL SECRETARY

It is a true honour and privilege to act as General Secretary of our great Society.

Our Society is strong, and the FLDP brand has become a marker of professionals. We need to protect this and build on its strengths. At the same time, we have to remember why our Society exists, and to whom we ultimately serve. Our mission is clear to voice concerns of LPG Distributors, LPG Customers and to participate in policy making affecting them. While doing so also participate in Nation Building activities and do our bit for the humanity.

At the core is the membership of our Society. We need to keep improving the benefits of membership. We need to forge links with all distributors from the ones in big city’s to those in rural. I am lucky to have a Governing Body full of talent and skills to make things happen. Enthusiastic, fresh, open minded and friendly, to follow our common goal.

Federation of LPG Distributors of Punjab is our Society. I ask you all to labour with me to care and nurture it, for the good of our profession, and our customers.

There is a lot to learn from these tiny remarkable teachers in nature. An ant can carry 50 times its own body weight and pull 30 times its weight. Drawing inspiration from this amazing fact, we can surely aspire to counter challenges for greater than what we think we can handle. But putting our hearts into what we do and leveraging all our strengths, we can amplify our energy levels dramatically. To deliver the optimal. To achieve the maximum. And to aim the highest." Certainly, to be an achiever, you have to be a believer first. Ants work, none to supervise, none to direct or co-ordinate, yet they work in unison. They are self starters, they are not strong and powerful. But they make up for their diminutive structure by sheer hard work, dedication, discipline and perseverance. We too should make up our deficiencies, if any, by becoming more firm, focused, task oriented, dedicated, organized, disciplined, committed and co-ordinated. Dedicating the society to our great country, I bow myself before "GOD" for his blessings on all of us now and for all times to come. It is hoped that with an inbuilt Momentum, our institutions will continue to march onward to a better tomorrow in the service of the Nation. God Bless you all and be with you today and always.
